Job Purpose: Supervise, train and guide service staff and ensure guests receive courteous and efficient five-star service. Key Responsibilities • Deliver high quality products and services to every guest • Identify and anticipate customers’ needs and expectations and make recommendations • Address guests’ requests and handle complaints promptly and to their satisfaction • Monitor the cleanliness and hygiene of all hardware, utensils and serving-ware • Schedule rosters and match manpower to business demands • Provide supervision, direction and leadership to service staff to achieve department goals • Arrange training sessions and refresher courses for staff in coordination with the F&B Trainer • Assist and perform duties assigned by the Assistant Manager and assume responsibilities in the Assistant Manager’s absence Competencies and Requirements Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ customer service experience as Team Leader in a restaurant; experience in a five-star hotel an advantage Knowledge/Certificates: Good product knowledge of international cuisines and wine; cash handling experience Education: Secondary school diploma or above Language Abilities: Fluent Cantonese and Mandarin; good English Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office and POS software; knowledge of Micros an advantage
