REQ15010 Assistant Manager, Human Resources (Open Date: 17/08/2026)POSITION SUMMARYThis position primarily acts as a business partner to City of Dreams Gaming functions and communicates closely with colleagues to ensure colleague engagement is achieved. Under the direction of HRP, the Assistant Manager, Human Resources provides generalist HR advice and services to their client group through identification of HR issues and needs in delivering the business plan, acting as a conduit of information and HR direction from the functional heads within the HR team, and provision of day-to-day support to the client groups. Assistant Manager, Human Resources will also work closely with Shared Services (Recruitment, HR Services, L&D) to provide HR related services to departments.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESUnder the direction of HRP, implement human resource strategies, initiatives and programs into the daily operations of the departments covering such areas as colleague engagement, performance management, reward and recognition, diversity management and other areas which compliment departmental business objectives.Actively participate in the recruitment, selection and training of appropriate colleagues to meet the requirements of the departments.Participate in department and colleague meeting and events to ensure colleague satisfaction.Provide career advice and counselling to colleagues as required.Provide advice to departments’ management and colleagues regarding colleague relations issues to assist in the achievement of effective outcomes.Provide advice and support to department on colleague planning and changes on organizational structure.Review and monitor Human Resources K.P.I.'s (e.g. colleague absenteeism and turnover, annual leave accruals, etc.) for the departments and initiate appropriate action in relation to K.P.I. trends. Adhere to COD's health and safety requirements. Actively participate in health and safety activities to ensure that workplace hazards are minimized and the health and safety of all colleagues is valued.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSExperienceAt least 5 years Human Resources experience in a supervisory roleProven work experience in Hospitality, Entertainment or Integrated Resort preferredStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of productsEducationBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences or Business AdministrationCertificate in Human Resources or Hospitality Management is an advantageSkills / CompetenciesExcellent verbal and written communications skills in English, Mandarin and Chinese (Cantonese)Excellent communication, problem solving and customer service skills requiredExcellent analytical and counselling skillsAbility to work under pressure and tight timelineExcellent leadership skills and ability to work in a team environmentGood understanding of Macau Labor Law and human resources functions Must be able to work long hours, evenings and weekendsAttention to details and meeting timeline is a must
