REQ14170 Auditor, Non-gaming Audit (Open)POSITION SUMMARY:Non-Gaming Auditor is responsible for ensuring that revenue and expense from hotel, theatre, retail and F&B outlets are verified for completeness and accuracy, correctly recorded, processed and reported on a timely basis.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure proper daily audit of hotel, F&B and other revenueEnsure computer system accuracy of booking of revenue and expenses on an ongoing basisCompletion of month end duties (journals and general ledger a/c reconciliations)Assist Senior Auditors and Supervisor to ensure compliance by other departments with internal control policies and procedures and if not, reasons are found and fixedAssist in preparation of any ad hoc reports and information upon request by departmentsKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:Achieve established reporting time linesInternal control systems are functioningRevenue and expense properly recognized on a timely basisQUALIFICATIONS:ExperienceAudit experience in hotels preferred but not necessaryExperience with a computerized systemAbility to communicate to all levels of managementEducationAppropriate tertiary qualifications, majoring in Finance / AccountingSkills / CompetenciesAdheres to, and supports the Company's Vision & ValuesDisplays a high commitment to excellence and continual improvementSelf motivation to achieve business objectives and common goalsWork as a team memberAchieves agreed objectives and accepts accountability for results
