Position Summary Reports to AVP MICE Services and EM - Event Planning, responsible for Event planning and execution, communicate with all stakeholders to ensure events are delivered successfully. Primary Responsibility • To provide excellent services on cross properties, enterprise scale event planning and execution to event organizers. • To upsell Galaxy services and facilities to contracted events. • Executing events including cross properties with professional events management practice and ensure events are run according to GEG's operation procedures and guidelines, ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations. • Communicate with internal departments to ensure events are well-coordinated. • Coordinate and manage external parties such as vendors and production house for seamless event execution. • Formulate event resume and Banquet Event Order that cover all the event elements for seamless service delivery. • Proactively handle issues arise from events and resolves if required • Carry out on-the-job training to junior staff of the team • Perform other duties as required. Requirements • University Degree Holder • Minimum 5 years working experience in Convention Centre or hotel in the sales or event management field. • Good relationship with business partners and service vendors. • Well understand MICE industry and local catering market • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill • Able to work under pressure • A good team player • Work in non-office hour or holidays are required • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is essential
